Plans and services
A maintenance plan covers one website. There are three plans:
| Service | S | M | L |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maintenance per year | 1× | 2× | 4× |
| Response time | 12 h | 6 h | 4 h |
| Support hours per year | 2 h | 4 h | 8 h |
| Site monitoring | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Backup* | Weekly | Daily | Daily |
| Staging environment* | – | – | ✓ |
| Critical security updates | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Price per year | CHF 480 | CHF 900 | CHF 1,500 |
*Backup and the staging environment require your website to be hosted with us. For external hosting, on request.
Maintenance: updates for the CMS, plugins and themes, compatibility and performance checks, and fixing minor problems.
Response time: how quickly we get back to you after your enquiry, on working days within the stated time. If your website is offline, it takes priority.
Support hours: your allowance for changes, advice and minor extensions.
Site monitoring: we monitor your website around the clock and see immediately if it cannot be reached. On request, you can have access to the live status.
Backup: automatic backup of the database and files. A restore is possible at any time.
Staging environment: a copy of your website for testing. We check changes and updates there before they go live.
Critical security updates: if major security vulnerabilities become known in the CMS, in plugins or on the server, we fix them promptly, in every plan and at no extra cost.
What support includes
Included: fixing errors in existing functionality, updates for the CMS, plugins and themes, security patches, performance and stability checks, minor changes to text and images, advice on existing features, restoring from backup and availability monitoring.
Not included: new features, a redesign or new page structures, extensive content maintenance (for example a blog or products), integrations with third-party services and APIs, training and workshops, damage caused by third parties, SEO and marketing campaigns, and migrations to other systems.
We still do what is not in the plan: we quote larger requests as a separate project or charge them by the hour. Additional hours cost CHF 140 per hour.
Support hours and maintenance apply per year of the term. Anything you do not use by the end of the term lapses; it is not carried over to the next year and is not refunded.
Prices and payment
All prices are annual prices in Swiss francs. Artugo is not registered for VAT; no VAT is added.
Payment is made annually in advance. Online, you take out a plan in the client area and pay on Stripe’s payment page by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Stripe then charges you automatically every year. You manage invoices and your payment method in the client area.
Prefer to pay by invoice? Get in touch with us. You will then receive an invoice by post every year in advance. The invoice is payable within 30 days.
If we change the price of a plan, the new price only applies to new plans. Existing plans keep their price.
Term and renewal
The minimum term is 12 months. It starts on the day of the first payment. After that, the plan renews automatically for 12 months at a time unless you cancel it in time.
Example: you take out a plan on 31 October 2026. The term runs until 30 October 2027, and on 31 October 2027 the plan renews for another year.
If you currently pay by invoice and switch to online payment, online payment only starts on the day after the last day covered by your invoice. Stripe charges nothing before then.
Cancellation
The notice period is 3 months to the end of the term. A cancellation is on time if we receive it by 23:59 on the last day of the notice period. The date of receipt is decisive.
How to work out the last day: if the term ends on the last day of a month, it is the last day of the month three months earlier. Otherwise, it is the same day three months earlier; if that day does not exist in the month, it is the last day of that month.
| Term ends | Cancel by |
|---|---|
| 31 December 2026 | 30 September 2026 |
| 28 February 2027 | 30 November 2026 |
| 30 May 2027 | 28 February 2027 |
Example: your term ends on 31 December 2026. We must receive your cancellation by 30 September 2026. Your plan then ends on 31 December 2026. If it arrives later, for example on 15 November 2026, the plan ends one year later, on 31 December 2027.
You can cancel in three ways:
- yourself in the client area, with a single confirmation,
- by email to info@artugo.ch,
- by phone on +41 78 972 29 54.
We confirm every cancellation by email, stating the date on which the plan ends. You can withdraw a cancellation up to and including the last day of the term, even after the notice period has passed.
Changing plans
Upgrading to a larger plan: this takes effect immediately. We charge the difference pro rata for the rest of the term. The renewal date stays the same; the price of the new plan applies from the next renewal. Before you upgrade, the client area shows you the exact amount.
From the upgrade, the allowance of the larger plan applies for the current term. Maintenance and support hours already used are counted towards it.
Downgrading to a smaller plan: this takes effect from the next renewal if we receive it by the end of the notice period. Otherwise, it takes effect from the renewal after that. A plan with the same price counts as smaller.
The smaller allowance applies from the renewal from which the smaller plan applies. Until then, the allowance of your current plan remains.
You can withdraw a scheduled downgrade up to and including the day before it takes effect. We also confirm every change of plan by email.
If you pay by invoice: an upgrade to a larger plan takes effect immediately. We invoice you separately for the pro rata difference for the rest of the term. A downgrade to a smaller plan takes effect from the next annual invoice if we receive it by the end of the notice period; otherwise, from the one after that.
Unpaid renewal
If Stripe cannot collect a renewal payment, it tries again for about two weeks and sends you reminders by email. The renewal remains due, even if the payment fails or you cancel the plan afterwards. The client area shows the open invoice, and you can pay it there. Until it is paid, you cannot change your plan.
Changes
If we change the scope of services of the plans, this applies to existing plans from the next renewal at the earliest. We announce the change by email before the notice period ends, so that you can cancel in time.
Our privacy policy applies to the processing of your data.
