General principle
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). This website is built so that as little data as possible is generated: it runs on our own server in Switzerland, loads no content from third-party providers (fonts and videos are also hosted on our server) and sets no cookies. The connection to the website is encrypted with HTTPS.
Hosting
The website runs on our own virtual server at Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva, in data centres in Switzerland. Our emails are also hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. Infomaniak only provides the technical infrastructure and processes the data on our behalf.
Server log files
When the website is accessed, the server stores technically necessary information such as the IP address, date and time, the page accessed and the browser. This data is used to operate the website securely and is deleted after 30 days.
Visitor statistics
We measure the use of the website with Matomo, which runs on our own server in Switzerland. Matomo does not set any cookies, IP addresses are anonymised, and the data is not passed on to third parties. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting is respected.
Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp
If you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use your details only to respond to your enquiry. The website itself has no form. We keep your messages for as long as is necessary for your enquiry and any resulting project. We retain business correspondence in accordance with the statutory retention periods.
The “Start chat on WhatsApp” button on the contact page is an ordinary link: WhatsApp, a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., only opens once you click it. Messages sent via WhatsApp are additionally subject to its privacy policy, and data may also be transferred to countries outside Switzerland, such as the USA. If you do not want this, you can reach us by email or phone.
Links to other websites
Links to other websites, for example “Plan route” to OpenStreetMap, open the services of those providers. Their privacy policies apply there. The city map on the contact page is hosted on our server; viewing it sends nothing to OpenStreetMap.
Transfers abroad
The website and its data are located in Switzerland, and we do not transfer your data abroad. The only exception is WhatsApp, if you write to us through it: in that case, data may also be processed outside Switzerland (see “Contact by email, phone or WhatsApp”).
Your rights
You can request information at any time about the personal data we process concerning you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and receive your data in a common electronic format. To do so, write to us at info@artugo.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
We may amend this privacy policy. The version currently published on this website applies.
